The Paw Plaza Hotel was founded by Melanie J. Scofield in February 2001. For years, Melanie had been searching for a kennel that had all of the comforts of home and a loving staff to ensure that her pet would be well taken care of while she was out of town. Unfortunately, she never found one. Most of the kennels that she had visited seemed too cold and sterile. She thought that there had to be a better way to board pets that also gives the owners peace of mind while they are away from their furry friends.
