We sell German Shepherd puppies and older puppies. Our breeding program is planned carefully to ensure quality health, temperament, and confirmation.

Before you go home with an Applejack German Shepherd we will take care of the details to ensure a smooth transition:

We will condition your new dog to whatever types of pets you own, or whichever ones your new dog is expected to be around.
If you have young children, we want to put a dog in your hands that will be good with them, because we know your children are your most prized possession.
We will teach your new dog proper manners for riding in your vehicle, including how to ride in a vehicle.
We will talk about the level of security and protection you expect from your dog. For example, how do you want your dog to react when someone is at your door, fence line, or approaching your car?

Whether you want to have an obedient house dog, a dog that will protect your family or property, or a working dog we customize our training packages to your needs. We train all dog breeds, not just German Shepherds.

Applejack starts with a free evaluation of your dog.

We talk with you to determine any problems you may be encountering and develop a customized training package.

We board and train your dog at our facility for 7 business days. Each day your dog will receive professional training, exercise, and play. We will teach your dog a 13-command routine and modify the behavior you’re having problems with.

Upon completion we will reintroduce you to your dog and you will receive weekly private lessons. As you become more comfortable handling your dog on the leash you will receive weekly group lessons.

Unlike other obedience classes, we do not set a limit on the number of classes needed to complete your training package. It takes what it takes.

Our training style focuses on behavior and attitude, not just knowing commands. We use vocal praise instead of food rewards or clicks. We have been in business over 27 years and are known for our expertise in dog psychology.
