Lisa Barrett-Hardy has owned and operated Faraway Kennels for over 29 years. She received a degree in Animal Science and worked for a veterinarian for 9 years before taking over Faraway Kennels in 1989. She believes in individual quality care to make sure every pet who visits is happy and healthy.

The company is based on the belief that the customers' needs are of the utmost importance. The entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of business is from repeat customers and referrals.

Rates are very competitive and there is NO extra charge to give medications or to feed your own food ( which is recommended if your dog is sensitive to changes in diet.)

All dogs and cats must be vaccinated for everyone's safety.
