Walnut Ridge Kennels is family-owned/operated boarding kennel, nestled in a quiet country setting in Huron County, Michigan. Located outside the city of Bad Axe in the "heart" of the Thumb, we have been in existence since 1999. The kennel started with 10 runs but we quickly added 30 more. After expanding yet again, we now have the capacity to house 60 dogs. We have spacious 4'x8' chain link runs inside for larger dogs and 3'x6' runs for the smaller dogs. For the optimal comfort of our guests, the building is climate controlled. Soft music is played throughout the day and night, having a calming effect on the dogs. Outside we have 2 large fenced areas where the dogs are able to exercise and play several times a day. You may bring toys, blankets, treats, etc for your poochie to have during their stay with us.
