Rye Country Boarding Kennels (RCBK), has been owned and operated by Stella and Sam DiEdwards since 1973. Stella’s love for animals goes back to her early teens when she worked at Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium in Manchester, England (UK). It is during this time that Stella learned the ins and outs of obedience training, kennel care, and dog handling. Stella emigrated from the United Kingdom to the USA in 1957 and quickly found her way to Rye Country Boarding Kennels. Back then, Stella was employed part-time at RCBK while Sam was a student at the Manhattan School of Music. In 1963, he joined RCBK as a part time employee as well.
