At the tender age of 5 Liz Quinn’s parents took her to the Des Moines animal shelter to adopt a spaniel mix and stop the weekly dinner table question, “Are you keeping a puppy/bunny/cat in the basement? “ She coerced her family into seeing Born Free seven times at the drive-in in Billings, Montana the summer after 2nd grade. There were rabbits, turtles, anoles, salamanders, canaries, horses, and more dogs in the years growing up. Her first dog as a young adult was given to her by a fellow dog lover, her Spanish professor at Brown University. After raising four children with a backyard full of four legged kids, she began working in Hudson Valley veterinary hospitals in 1996, first for Doc Goodman in Millbrook, then Dr Mike Murphy and now Dr. Lauren Roginski of Valley Veterinary Hospital in Pleasant Valley. As a lifelong animal lover and caregiver, she looks forward to caring for your pet. When Liz is off duty, you will find her whipping up gourmet meals sourced from her farm (start with a bucket of saltwater) or on a travel adventure with Anne.
