Aristocats Hotel and Spa was opened in order to fulfill some needs for the cat lover that seemed to be missing in the Oklahoma City metro area. At Aristocats, we love all animals — especially cats — and have a wide range of experience with them. Allennia Voerster, our owner, has been a veterinary technician since 1981. She owns and shows pedigree cats.

In her years as a veterinary tech, she has noticed a growing need for experienced cat grooming, especially for those cats that do not require sedation for grooming. Many vet clinics will automatically sedate every cat that comes in, especially those that need shaving. Most grooming shops accept only dogs, and many of the ones that do accept cats still prefer to work on dogs. She knows that cats are more relaxed and comfortable without the sight, sound, and smell of dogs — especially those cats that aren't used to dogs.
