Sauvie Island Kennels was the first boarding and training kennels established on beautiful Sauvie Island, which is surrounded by the waters of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers and Multnomah Channel, in the northwest corner of Oregon. Sauvie Island and the surrounding wetland areas are a major part of the Pacific flyway for wintering waterfowl and nationally known for the outstanding birdwatching and hunting opportunities that exist here.
