Hickory was our first dog; a Great Dane that nurtured and taught all our other animals. She was patient and loving with puppies and gentle with elderly dogs that would come and visit. Hickory was special.

When I quit the corporate rat race and went into business doing something I loved over 20 years ago, I named it after Hickory. I wanted it to be a place where owners could board and train their own special pets with worry free confidence. A place that understands that first time guests, puppies, and elderly dogs require even more specialized care. A place that believes all dogs can be well behaved companions with proper and balanced training. After all these years of improving the kennel from what I learned from clients and their pets, Hickory would be proud of the “Little Kennel with a Big Heart ”.
