The Pet Campus, Inc. bought Pine Acres Kennel in 2000. Within the first year, major renovations and a new sign gave way to the business that exists today. Training and Day Care were added to the already established grooming and boarding businesses. No one believed me when I started telling them that we now had daycare for dogs. “No one’s going to bring their dog just for the day,” they would say. I remember laying on the newly built jungle gym in the day care yard with dogs walking on me and licking my face and feeling such joy and satisfaction in a dream come true.
