Welcome to The Doggy Retreat. We are a family run home day care, home visit, dog walking and overnight boarding service based in Exeter. We believe that your dog deserves to feel comfortable and happy in their “home from home” whilst you’re at work/on holiday/out for the day. We understand that dogs are part of the family, not all breeds are suited to kennels. We offer first class accommodation for your small to medium sized dog, whether that be for the day or longer!

Founded by myself (Ellie) in 2016, The Doggy Retreat which started out as a passion and hobby, has now grown into a well loved small business. With a huge family of regulars that join me at the Woof HQ daily, there’s never a dull moment and I wouldn’t change it for the world. To call this work would be a lie, I am very lucky and privileged to care for such beautiful little furry ones, and I care for each and every one of them as my own! I am Canine First Aid certified, and we are licensed under the Animal Boarding Establishment Act 1963 with Exeter City Council.
