Animal Hospital of Putnam provides boarding to the public for dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. For our clients, we offer medical boarding for animals who need medications/injections. We also provide the option to have your pet’s medical needs attended to while boarding, including annual examinations, vaccines, and more.
Our pet kennels in Putnam are all indoors, so you can rest assured that your pet will be safe and comfortable for the duration of their stay. All boarded dogs are walked at least three times daily. Cats are housed in a separate area away from dogs.
Our team takes great care to ensure that your pet is tended to the way they would be at home. That means we’ll treat your pet like our own and give them the attention they need. Our goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed and comfortable as long as they are in our care.
When you check-in at our animal hospital, we’ll review all the details of your pet’s stay and make sure we have all the information we need. We encourage you to bring a sufficient supply of your pet’s food, any medications they are taking and any other belongings they may need during their stay.
