Ashton Animal Clinic was built and opened in 1993. Two additions followed; the boarding kennel in 1998 and the office/lab in 2003. The facility is 8,000 square feet on 2.4 acres and supports a full service veterinary hospital and boarding kennel that can house 90 cats and 150 dogs. There are 16 full time employees that maintain operations 7 days a week. In the event of a hurricane, the clinic is equipped with a generator which powers the entire facility in case of a power outage.
