Since 1988 when Mountain View Pet Lodge opened, we have strived to offer a safe, comfortable, and happy place for your pets to stay when you are away. We believe in getting to know your pet - their likes, dislikes, favorite spot for a back or belly rub. We offer patience and genuine interest to your pet while they are with us. We love it when pets are happy to come to Mountain View Pet Lodge and bound in the door to greet our staff. We also love to witness the excited reunion of pets and their family at pick-up time.

Owner Joyce DeLay has infused her philosophy and love of animals into Mountain View Pet Lodge. Dogs, cats, and horses have all held a large space throughout her life. Joyce trained her own pets with Lake Lanier Obedience Club in the 1980s, and spent several years enjoying and often winning competitions throughout the southeast. She and her husband also trained their pets in schutzhund. Joyce leads by example and sets the expectations high so that your pet feels comfortable with us. Joyce's staff includes Crystal, Rebecca, Diane, Rose, Lee Anna, Katie, and handyman/husband Bobby - all intent upon making Mountain View Pet Lodge a happy place for pets and their humans.
